2019 Terms of Service

• I, the artist, have the right to deny any commissioner.
​
• I have a busy life and a tight schedule, so it may take a month or two depending on the complexity of your character or the commission. I will try to give you an estimated date of completion, but it is not official. I also do not work with deadlines!
• I will only allow changes to your commission before the line-art is completed. After the "okay" is given to start coloring, no line-art changes are permitted (This does not include something I missed, forgot, or got wrong.). So, please make sure that you have everything you want before I start coloring!
• If you ordered a custom character, we will not "try things out" repeatedly. You MUST know what you want before I draw! If you wish to try something out, please keep it in moderation.
• If you would like multiple versions of your commission (for example: clothed and unclothed), then you must pay an extra $10 for each version you want. This does not include minor things such as facial expressions or versions with or without bodily fluids.

• I am not a professional costume maker, I am a hobbyist, and my quality and craftsmanship will grow with time and practice.
• Quotes are free and do not guarantee a commission spot. Quotes only determine how much a commission will cost, and is subject to change at any time!
• Commission prices do not include shipping. Shipping must be paid once your commission is finished to be able to send the suit.

• A minimum of 50% of the commission price is required to claim the commission spot. This cannot be refunded. A minimum of a 50% deposit is also needed for payment plans.
​
• I do take payment plans, but payment plans must be discussed before the deposit! Any payments after you have made your 50% deposit can be refunded if you choose to cancel. Your commission will not be started until it's paid in full. Monthly payment prices are negotiable, but any payments missed for more than two months will result in your money and commission to be forfeit.

• I accept Paypal and Square only!
• If you do not contact C.S. Studios within 60 days of your suit or part being completed, you will forfeit any and all payments made to us, and I will have the right to sell and modify your suit or part.
• You must be 18 or older to commission a fursuit or mascot costume from me. A picture of your valid driver's license, as well as a selfie of you holding the license, is required!
• I will not make any closed species unless explicitly given permission by the closed species owner.

• If your suit is damaged from shipping (ex. Ripped or torn seams, removed parts, damaged parts, etc.) or from usage, you are entitled to one free repair depending on the damage. Customer must pay shipping and handling.

• If you have read all of my TOS, please put the phrase "Starry Night" in your quote when you apply. Doing so holds you liable for any actions that you make that break my TOS. If you do not include this code, you will not secure a slot or receive a quote.

Fursuits and Mascot Costumes
• You can send NSFW or SFW reference sheets, but I prefer SFW since there are no parts to get in the way of the patterns. I will not go off of descriptions of your character unless I'm doing a reference sheet or a custom.
• If you re-post a finished commission from me, you must give credit is some shape or form, please!
• YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COPY OR TRACE MY ARTWORK IN ANY WAY UNLESS IT IS FOR YOUR OWN ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT. If you do trace my art, you may not sell or trade it in any shape or form, and you MUST give credit!
• I take Paypal and Square!
• You must be 18 or older to commission an NSFW piece from me. A picture of your valid driver's license, as well as a selfie of you holding the license, is required!

• Refunds may only be given out up until the line-art is finished. Any requests for a refund past the line-art stage of your drawing will be denied.

• C.S. Studios has the right to refuse any commission.
• You MUST have a digital and high-quality reference sheet. 180° and 360° reference sheets are recommended for the best quality.
• I will not provide a completion date, and I will not work with due dates or rush orders. I take my time in providing you the best quality suits I possibly can! The commission can take from anywhere to 3-5 months to a year depending on the complexity, so please be patient!

• Any design changes or additions before the making process will affect the end price of your commission. Any changes or additions made during the fursuit making process will affect the cost of your suit and time of completion. Immediate payment is required.
​
• Reminding me to take progress photos is okay, but please don't spam me once to multiple times a week! I have a life outside of fursuit making.
• C.S. Studios specialize in both SFW and NSFW fursuits! Although, currently I do not make full suits. When I do, you will be able to have NSFW options available such as crotch zippers or rear flaps.
​
• I will always try to find the closest color to your suit as I can, but fur is limited in size and color, so it may not always be exactly accurate. I order my fur online, and if you have a specific link to your fur, then we will discuss it. You will not receive a discount for providing a link to the fur you want, but you will receive a discount if you choose to purchase the fur for me! The discount will be however much you spent on the fur, including tax and shipping, but you must pay for shipping and handling to mail the fur to me.

• If your suit has any maker flaws, such as holes or popped seams due to my own fault, I will be more than happy to repair your suit as long as you pay for shipping to send it back. I will pay the shipping to send it to you once repaired!

• All shipping and handling fees are the customers' responsibility.
